Sir Chris Hoy, gold medalist on Tuesday’s Olympic keirin, is thinking about a possible retirement. The 36-year-old Brittion sees the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow as the ideal moment for a goodbye.
“The dream scenario is to have the Commonwealth Games as my swansong, but it’s a big ask, it’s two more years.”
Hoy, six times Olympic champion, is ruling out a seventh title. “I’m almost hundred percent sure I’ll not go to Rio in 2016.”
